Ey Up! Summat's Changed in't Lift!
Enjoy a proper local welcome to Xscape Yorkshire this Yorkshire Day, thanks to brand-new lift announcements recorded by Castleford rugby legend and commentator Mick Morgan.
Launching on 1st August – aka Yorkshire Day! – the bespoke voiceovers bring Mick's unmistakable Yorkshire humour and personality to the lifts, with memorable phrases inspired by his iconic commentary from 1994.
The installation will become a permanent feature, adding another fun attraction for visitors while celebrating the region's rich heritage. The launch also shines a spotlight on the nearby mural, which pays tribute to Castleford and its proud rugby history.
Experience the new announcements from Yorkshire Day onwards and enjoy a light-hearted celebration of everything that makes Yorkshire unique.
