Lights, camera... popcorn!
The big day has finally arrived... our brand-new Vue is set to open its doors on Thursday 28th August – and you're invited to the opening day celebrations!
There are lots of exciting activities planned throughout the day to celebrate the new venue, including £1 screenings, sweet treat samples and a meet and greet with the Castleford Tigers too.

£1 Screenings
Vue will be running limited screenings on a first-come-first-served basis, giving audiences a chance to test out the new luxury venue for just £1 when booked online via the Vue Castleford website or £2 when you buy a ticket in-venue.
There will be four films to choose from on the day, including:
- Cbeebies Musical: The Great Ice Cream Hunt at 10:10am
- Madagascar at 10:30am
- Bluey Let’s Play Chef at 10:05am and 11:45am
- The Dark Knight at 7:15pm.
Castleford Tigers
Castleford Tigers mascot JT plus a couple of the players will be stopping by the event ready for you to snap your photos with them. Plus, you'll get the opportunity to play the team's rugby scoring game and be in with a chance of winning free match tickets too.
Sweet treat samples
Inside the new Vue venue, you can also discover Vue's new retail concept, Vue Your Way, and get the chance to sample some of the sweet treats on offer too!
